The first school with the new, quiet PCS modules
Lidåkers School in Lidköping has grown, and for autumn 2015 it has gained an entirely new school building of 258sqm. Made up of seven modules, the school includes two large classrooms, a staff room, roomy corridors, two cloakrooms with drying cupboards, a storeroom, four toilettes and a large entrance area. Lighting fixtures have been fitted to the ceilings of the large, light classrooms, and all necessary air conditioning ducts have been integrated nicely and painted in the same colours as the lamps, radiators and window pains. On the outside, the entrance steps and wheelchair ramp have been fitted with a grating that prevents slipping accidents and works as a boot scraper.
This school building was the first that PCS assembled using the new, quiet PCS Comfort units, which have been designed in every conceivable detail to create the best possible sound quality in the temporary school building. Lidköping local council will lease the building for four years.
